Artistic Statement

"Bringing together the vibrant traditions of my heritage with my experiences of living and traveling around the world, my art serves as a dialogue between my past and present, the personal and the universal. Through both art and music, I aim to comfort the disturbed by exploring themes often considered "taboo" and reflecting on the experiences, both positive and negative, that have shaped me.

My ultimate goal is to fully restore Ukraine from the devastation of war (with the help of music, my life's work) and to reveal the truths of our history that have long been hidden from the world. While my work carries deep personal significance, its meaning is open to interpretation. I believe that art should not be confined to a single theme that the artist gives it, but should exist as a fluid spectrum of expression and storytelling."- Mariya Daniela
